The Lambanana

The Superlambanana is a yellow sculpture which is in Liverpool, England. It is a combination of a lamb and a banana. It's 17 feets high and almost 8 tons in weight. It was created in 1998 and it was designed by Taro Chiezo. The artist had in mind a banana and a lamb because once they were a common cargo in Liverpool Port.
When Liverpool was the Capital & Culture, in 2008. 125 replicas were made. They were unsure for 10 weeks. In the recent years the most of the lambabana replicas have dissappeared. They were auctioned for charity
